How New Chapter Was Born! A Q&A with owners Tiffany Craig and Ryan Beals

Tell us a bit about your business. What does your business offer and how long have you been around?

New Chapter Estate Sales grew naturally out of the work we were already doing with seniors through AmareVida. As a nurse and a former journalist, we both built careers around serving and advocating for people. Over time, we kept seeing the same need. Families needed help not just with care, but with transitions.

That is how New Chapter was born.

We provide full service estate sales, downsizing coordination, clean outs, staging, marketing, and complete home clear outs. When we say we handle everything, we mean it. From sorting and pricing to selling and leaving the home ready for listing.

We have been operating for several years now and have grown steadily because families trust us during some of the most emotional seasons of life.

How did you decide to get involved in this line of work? How did the business get started?

After decades in healthcare and consumer advocacy, we understood two things. Transitions are overwhelming, and families often feel alone.

When seniors moved to assisted living or passed away, their belongings represented a lifetime of memories. Families kept asking us, “Do you know someone who can help with the house?”

Eventually we realized we needed to be that solution.

New Chapter started organically. It was built from serving families well in one space and recognizing we could serve them even better in another.

What are you most proud of? What separates you from the competition?

We are proud that we treat every home with respect. This is not a garage sale operation. This is professional estate liquidation and transition management.

We are known for strong marketing, professional staging, a loyal buyer following, clear systems, and leaving homes completely cleared and ready for listing.

What truly separates us is the combination of healthcare discipline and consumer advocacy. We move quickly, but never carelessly. We communicate clearly. We operate with structure. And we lead with heart.

What is your favorite part of running this business?

There is something powerful about walking into a full home at the beginning and standing in an empty, ready home at the end. It represents closure for one family and opportunity for another.

We also love seeing our team execute at a high level. Organization, coordination, teamwork. It feels like a mission accomplished every single time.

Who is your ideal client?

We serve seniors and their adult children who need a trusted partner during a transition.

Our ideal client values professionalism, transparency, and communication. Often it is a son or daughter juggling careers, children, and the responsibility of helping a parent move or settle an estate.

We step in so they do not have to carry it alone.

Tell us about yourselves as owners.

Ryan is a Registered Nurse with over three decades in healthcare and a former Navy Corpsman. Service has always been at the core of his life.

Tiffany is a former award winning broadcast journalist who built a career advocating for consumers and holding businesses accountable.

Together, we built AmareVida and New Chapter with one guiding principle. Take care of people first. Run the business with discipline. Show up when others do not.

This is not just a business model. It is a mission.

Anything else you would like people to know?

We understand that calling us usually means something significant has happened. A move. A loss. A major life shift.

We take that seriously.

Our goal is simple. Reduce stress. Maximize value. Leave the home ready for its next chapter.

How do you see the business growing?

We plan to expand thoughtfully throughout the Greater Houston area while maintaining quality and control. Growth for us is not about volume alone. It is about building strong systems, developing leaders within our team, and serving more families without losing our personal touch.

Long term, we see New Chapter becoming the trusted name in estate transitions in our region because of consistency, professionalism, and heart.
